Format
The seminar will consist of two general sessions as well as concurrent breakout sessions. Most of the sessions will be offered twice to allow for smaller audiences and
to keep scheduling flexible. The ceded sessions and the research corner will be offered once.
Continuing Education
This seminar will enable actuaries and other professionals to update their knowledge of reinsurance and to help meet their continuing professional education requirements.
Registration Information
This meeting will be held June 15-16, 2000 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The number of participants is limited and registrations will be honored in the order that they are received. The fee is $500 ($728 Canadian) for CAS members, subscribers and active candidates, and $600 ($873 Canadian) for non-members. The registration fee includes a welcome reception on the eve of the seminar, a buffet dinner at the Top of the Hub Restaurant & Skywalk, continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks both days, and seminar materials.
All fees will increase by $50 if a registration is received after June 1, 2000.
Lodging Information
The seminar will be held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel, 110 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, 02116. The telephone number for reservations is (617) 236-5800. A limited number of rooms has been reserved for the evenings of June 14 and 15. The rate is $208 for a single or double room. Please specify that you are attending the Casualty Actuarial Society meeting when you make your reservation. Hotel reservations must be made by May 24, 2000.

Attire
Business casual attire is suggested for all sessions as well as the buffet dinner on Thursday evening. Since meeting room temperatures and personal comfort levels vary,
it is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.
Cancellation Policy
The fee will be refunded for cancellations received by June 8, 2000, less a $50 processing fee. Only written cancellations will be honored. Cancellations will be accepted by fax at (703) 276-3108 or by e-mail at office@casact.org.
