Reinsurance Prize Winners Named

At the 1999 CAS Reinsurance Seminar held last June in Baltimore, the CAS awarded two CAS Reinsurance Prizes of $1,000 each to Robert P. Butsic and John M. Kulik. Butsic won for his paper "Capital Allocation for Property-Liability Insurers: A Catastrophe Reinsurance Application" and Kulik for "A Practical Application of Modern Portfolio Theory to Capital Allocation."
