AERF Sponsors 10th Annual Practitioners Award Contest

Each year, the Actuarial Education and Research Fund (AERF) invites submissions for the Practitioners Award. The award is intended to recognize the considerable research done by actuaries in non-academic work, and encourage the publication of research done in pursuing normal job duties. Submissions for the award, which do not need to be written as a formal paper as long as the work is described clearly, must be received by June 1, 1998. They should be addressed to Curtis E. Huntington, Executive Director, Actuarial Education and Research Fund, 475 N. Martingale Road, Suite 800, Schaumburg, Illinois 60173-2226 USA. The winner will be awarded $1,000 (US). Winning entries will be published in the Actuarial Research Clearing House (ARCH).
